Two Entrepreneurs I have to give credit to for where I am today

Two Entrepreneurs, I have to give credit to for where I am today.

Jordan Moore

I met Jordan when we were both stationed in Pensacola, Florida attached to the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Team, The Blue Angels. He was the first “newbie” for our group and therefore he was the one responsible for all of us. My first year I was a Crew Chief and Jordan was in Life Support. My second year, I moved over into the Life Support shop and Jordan was our Lead.

Needless to say, we spent a TON of time together.

I learned that his entire family was a part of a specific company and I was immediately hooked. I enrolled for a short time, learning a lot but not accomplishing much. That was no reflection of Jordan or the company… I just wasn’t in the right mindset to be able to build the business like it should be built.

But it did give me an introduction into an industry that I will always love, respect, and in some way be a part of.

Angela Brooks

I met Angela through Twitter. My wife and I interviewed her for a podcast we had for a short time, and during that interview, I took more notes than I think I ever had! She introduced me to an entire section of the industry that I knew nothing about or even knew existed. I looked over her website and was even more amazed at the accomplishments and information she shared on there.

I had to learn more. She invited us to an event in southern Florida with another leader in the industry and for the first time, my wife Charlyn was hooked also!

I was amazed to see how many people were doing so well, and watching Angela on stage with so many other leaders was more impressive than I can explain.

Needless to say, I felt small.

I had not been very successful up to that point and I felt like I didn’t measure up at all. Honestly, I was probably the lowest income earner in the room!

But I did learn a lot from those three days. More than I imagined I would. I had been to conferences many times in the past, but nothing compared to this! I knew at that point I had to be a part of something I could really believe in and that I could share with anyone.

After about six months of looking around, I found a company that I truly believe in and have never looked back.  While there are a number of home-based businesses out there, I believe it is extremely important to find one that feels right.

I am grateful to both Jordan and Angela for teaching me, guiding me, and most importantly dealing with me throughout the years.
